Our Physicians
Lawrence E. Samuels, M.D.
Dr. Samuels received his Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas, and his Doctorate of Medicine from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He completed his dermatology fellowship at BJC/Washington University, serving as Chief Resident in dermatology during his final year. He is a Board Certified Dermatologist, a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons and actively involved in Hair Transplant surgery since 1989. Dr. Larry Samuels is Chief of Dermatology at St. Lukes Hospital and began Specialists in Dermatology & Cosmetic Medicine in 1980.

Joseph A. Muccini, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Muccini received his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. His residency training occurred at Harvard Medical School, including a general surgery internship, one year of subspecialty surgery residency, two years of fellowship in dermatology, and finally residency in dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and the affiliated Harvard Medical School Hospitals. Following residency, Dr. Joe Muccini completed a fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the Alt Cosmetic Surgery Center in Edina, Minnesota. He is a board certified dermatologist, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons, and St. Louis Dermatologic Society. Dr Muccini has been the principle investigator for several clinical trials, and has served as a consultant for medical technology firms. He joined Specialists in Dermatology and Cosmetic Medicine in 1999, and sees patients of all ages for both medical and surgical dermatologic issues.

Christopher W. Kling, M.D
Dr. Kling received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame graduating magna cum laude, and his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Buffalo. Dr. Chris Kling received training in internal medicine in Buffalo, NY at Sisters of Charity Hospital. He then completed a dermatology residency at St. Louis University, serving as the Chief Resident in dermatology during his final year. He is a board certified Dermatologist, and member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons, and St. Louis Dermatologic Society. He joined Specialists in Dermatology and Cosmetic Medicine in 2005. He sees patients of all ages for most common medical skin conditions, and is trained to provide the latest cosmetic treatments available. He is married with two daughters, and lives in Wildwood, MO.
